About us

A painting company built around prep, plain estimates and a phone that gets answered

We paint houses, condos and commercial spaces across Atlanta. Here is how we work, where we are and what you can hold us to.

How we started

Painting that holds up in Atlanta weather

Keronkan Painting grew out of a simple observation: most paint failures we were called to fix were not bad paint. They were skipped prep. Siding painted over chalk, trim painted over rot, cabinets painted over grease. So we built the company around doing the unglamorous part properly and writing it into every estimate.

Today we paint interiors, exteriors, cabinets, brick, decks and commercial spaces from two locations: an Atlanta office on Peachtree Street NE for intown and the north side, and our headquarters in McDonough for Henry County and the southside.

Our phones are answered 24 hours a day. Painting itself happens on a schedule, but questions, storm damage worries and walkthrough bookings do not wait for business hours, so neither do we.

In short

We paint homes and businesses across Atlanta and nine metro counties from an Atlanta office and a McDonough headquarters. Every job starts with a free walkthrough and a written scope that lists prep, products, coats and schedule. Call (470) 458-0461 any time.

What we hold ourselves to

Four things you can expect on every job

Prep before paint

Washing, scraping, sanding, repairs and primer are listed on the estimate and done before color goes on.

Plain written estimates

The scope names products, sheens, coats and working days, so you can compare it line by line.

Respect for occupied homes

Covered floors and furniture, one room out of service at a time and cleanup every afternoon.

Honest timing

We schedule around Atlanta weather and tell you when a day is too wet, too hot or too pollen-heavy to paint outside.

Our writers

Who writes Paint & Color

Our Paint & Color articles are written by Delmar Upshaw, our paint & color editor. The articles turn what our painters see on Atlanta jobs, pollen on wet paint, mildew on shaded siding, lead-era trim in older homes, into practical advice you can use before you call anyone.
